Epicurean Traveler: "A Grenache with Panache" - July 2016

Food & Beverage World: "Winery of the Week" - February 2016

"At Seven Oxen Estate Wines, located in the rolling hills of Paso Robles’ Westside, they purposely keep yields low to guarantee the highest quality fruit possible and to ensure their wines reflect the unique character of the vineyard. The News Press (USA Today Network): "Try French Connection in Paso Robles" - January 2016

"Seven Oxen winemaker, Bastien Leduc, grew up helping his father in vineyards in southwest France before moving to the U.S. His first year in Paso, he sold of all his grapes. He didn’t make wine he says, “until I learned how the varietals behaved.” In 2013 he kept 1/3 of his crop and began making his own beautiful wines. The 2013 Seven Oxen Mourvedre is juicy and balanced with lots of red fruit and spice.

The 2013 Cassidy is bold grenache/mourvedre blend with ripe fruit, spice and pleasant acidity. The wines of this newer vineyard are limited so you’ll have to get them direct from the winery. They’re worth the shipping."

"But Paso's hidden gems are the real gold mine. This host of small vineyards produces wines rarely distributed outside of tasting rooms and wine clubs, and visiting them is worth your entire trip: Chronic Cellars, Alta Colina, Clavo, Kukkula, Seven Oxen and RN Estate."
